Notice on Google’s Recent SERP Collection Change
Google has recently removed the &num=100 parameter, which previously allowed tools to fetch up to 100 search results in a single request. Now, results are limited to smaller sets (10 at a time). This change has impacted rank tracking across the entire industry — all tools are affected.
What we’re doing
• Limits adjustment in progress: We are updating our systems to ensure reliable Top 10 and Top 20 rankings for all tracked keywords.
• Managing higher costs: Since 100 results now require 10× more requests, the cost of collecting this data has increased significantly and is unsustainable in the current form. We’re working on the best possible long-term solution.
• Continuous monitoring: Our team is validating SERP data closely to minimize discrepancies during this transition.
What you might see
• Slower refreshes or occasional differences in rankings.
• Temporary gaps in deeper result sets (beyond Top 20) while adjustments are rolled out.
What you should do
• Please don’t panic if you notice discrepancies — they are caused by this Google update, not your SEO performance.
• Focus on weekly and monthly trends while we complete adjustments.
We’re actively working on a sustainable solution and will keep sharing updates in the coming days.
Note: All other tools are working fine with no issues. Only Google Rank Tracker has been affected by this update. Services/Tools listed below have no impact:

 - Keyword Research Tool

We have decided to roll out the more sustainable rank tracking limits with the default depth of Top 20 results. And options to select the Depth of 50 or 100 as well as frequency from Daily, Weekly or Bi-weekly. Also, we are introducing the total requests limit credit in a month for rank tracking for better flexibility and transparency for our users. These changes will be made live in couple of days.
So in a nutshell, whats going to change:
