Notice on Google’s Recent SERP Collection Change
Google has recently removed the &num=100 parameter, which previously allowed tools to fetch up to 100 search results in a single request. Now, results are limited to smaller sets (10 at a time). This change has impacted rank tracking across the entire industry — all tools are affected.
What we’re doing
• Limits adjustment in progress: We are updating our systems to ensure reliable Top 10 and Top 20 rankings for all tracked keywords.
• Managing higher costs: Since 100 results now require 10× more requests, the cost of collecting this data has increased significantly and is unsustainable in the current form. We’re working on the best possible long-term solution.
• Continuous monitoring: Our team is validating SERP data closely to minimize discrepancies during this transition.
What you might see
• Slower refreshes or occasional differences in rankings.
• Temporary gaps in deeper result sets (beyond Top 20) while adjustments are rolled out.
What you should do
• Please don’t panic if you notice discrepancies — they are caused by this Google update, not your SEO performance.
• Focus on weekly and monthly trends while we complete adjustments.
We’re actively working on a sustainable solution and will keep sharing updates in the coming days.
